Russo Brothers' collaborator and stunt coordinator Sam Hargrave suited up as Captain America whereas his brother Daniel Hargrave played the younger version. In a recently shared video, Sam Hargrave gave a glimpse of what happened behind the scenes. "#tbt @danielhargrave and me doing a piece of the fall from the end of “Cap vs Cap” on Avengers: Endgame. Such an honor to direct, perform and help design this sequence. And always a pleasure being on set and on-screen with my brother. Love ya bud," he wrote on Instagram.

Daniel also shared a video from another angle while revealing how they were being careful while shooting the scene. "Here is another angle of the stair gag...3,2,1 ...shoulder through earhole! Fun fact, @thesamhargrave had to duct tape his knees straight for this gag so his legs wouldn’t fall off from old injuries," he said.

Avengers: Endgame released in 2019.
